**NEW DESIGN/ NEW HARDWARE.**

Due to the extremely long print time, cost of material, and wear on my machines, I am only offering a limited run of these custom fore stocks.

Picatinny fore stock with removable M-Lok aluminum rail compatible with PINNED Mossberg 500.

I bought my Mossberg 500 from a big box store in 2011 as a combo kit. It came with a 18 1/2” and 26” barrel. It also came with a PINNED fore stock. At the time I didn’t know any better and it was a good deal, so I bought it. I’ve been through 1000s of rounds in the 10+ years with 0 problems.

Fast forward to today, and I wanted to change over to a more tactical set up. Everything was straight forward except the pinned factory fore stock. Everyone on the internet says I need to buy a Mossberg Action Assembly, a castle nut, and a new fore stock. All these parts are hard to come by in Canada in 2023, so I designed a work around.

My new fore stock is made of super tough Carbon Fiber PLA. It can handle the repeated pumps along a steel barrel. The fore stock rides on internal fins that keep the fore stock from binding while pumping. It also has a removable aluminum picatinny rail on the bottom, so you can attach a AFG ore a VFG. The sides have mil spec 7 slot rails attached for flashlights or lazers.

My new stock uses new M3 threaded bolts (provided) instructions provided.

You are buying….

1 - Fore stock printed in carbon fiber PLA, with removable bottom aluminum picatinny m-lok rail.

2 - M3 threaded bolts to replace factory pins.

1-Tracked shipping and customs paperwork for US customers.

*I have tested my design extensively and I am confident that you will love the new tactical feel of your old Mossberg.

Cheers,

Jerad

Project time: 10 minutes

Tools needed: small drill bit, power drill, hammer, slotted screwdriver

*Follow all safe handling procedures, always make sure shotgun is unloaded before proceeding *

1st step is to make sure you have the PINNED forestock as pictured in pic #11 . Slide pump 1/2 way, then unscrew barrel nut. Take off barrel.

2nd step is to drill a small hole through the back of the factory fore stock, in line with the pin hole (pic#12) I used a 1/8 or smaller drill bit.

3rd step Once your through the plastic, knock the “non removable pins” out of the factory hand guard (pic #13) All that are holding them in is a small o-ring on the top of the pin (pic#14)

4th step is to UN-hook the spring clip from the action bar with a flat screwdriver, and pull the factory fore stock off the front of the mag tube. You do not have to take the trigger assembly/action bars out.

5th step is to make sure you install spring clip into grooves provided in new fore stock. Pull action bars on the 500 fully forward until they lock in place. Slide new fore stock onto mag tube. Align action bars with vertical slots inside fore stock. Push fore stock until action bars are fully seated (pic#7). Thread M3 bolts through fore stock and action bars in provided holes. Once pins are in, slide fore stock back 1/2 way and re-install barrel.

If you want to take the new fore stock off, unscrew the bolts while putting pressure behind the bolt through the provided hole. A dental pick or small punch will work. No need to re-drill.

Enjoy!
